About me

Hi, I’m Kasia. I’m from Poland but have lived in London, UK for over 5 years now. My own journey with fitness has been a bit of a rollercoaster. And that’s what makes me so passionate about helping others discover what their bodies can do.

My story

I’ve been strength training for 12 years, running for 5, and dancing for fun for as long as I can remember - but it wasn’t always this way.

As a teenager, I struggled with eating disorders - swinging between emotional overeating and strict, punishing diets.

Sports? They never were my thing. Always avoiding them at all costs. Dancing was my passion, but I never saw it as a “real” sport.

When I was 20, I went on another extreme diet. I lost a lot of weight, and the compliments rolled in. But here’s the truth: I didn’t feel better about myself. It made me realize that people might treat you differently when you're thin, but it doesn't automatically make you healthy or happy. I couldn't even run a kilometer, and food became my enemy.

A trip to the gym with my friend changed everything. I hated it at first, but something made me stick with it. Each session got easier, and strength training became something I loved and I got good at it. Years later, I even competed in powerlifting. Then I gave running another shot (ok, the pandemic forced me) - starting with 30-second intervals (wasn’t able to run much longer without dying) and eventually building to 5 marathons, including 3 World Majors! From 30 seconds to 42 kilometers - how cool is that?

And let me remind you: I was never a sporty kid!

My approach

Now, sport isn’t a punishment. It’s not an obligation. It’s not about shrinking myself and it’s not about being the thinnest version of myself. It’s about becoming strong and independent. It’s about being capable - whether that’s running the NYC Marathon, learning handstand, hiking Mont Blanc, or carrying a 20kg backpack across Asia for two months.

Every new challenge feels more manageable, not just because my body is fitter but because I know my limits, strengths, and that progress takes time. I’ve learned to try, fail, and keep going. Less shame, more game.

My mission

I feel it in every cell of my being: my mission is to share this with others. Sport isn’t just for athletes or the “naturally gifted.” It’s for everyone. It’s about breaking old mental patterns and overcoming self-imposed limits.

If you’re unsure where to start, let me guide you. I’ll help you take those first steps in the gym, learn proper technique, smash your first deadlift PB, run your first 5K or even your first marathon. We’ll build a stronger, more capable body together, reduce your risk of injury, and figure out a balanced diet that works for you. (Spoiler alert: it’s all about balance.) I’ll also explain how to use macronutrients - fats, carbs, and proteins - to fuel your goals.

And if something is beyond my expertise, I won’t hesitate to connect you with a specialist - a physiotherapist, dietitian, or psychologist.

Oh, and I’m always happy to chat about cats, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and travel.
